A hair patch, also called a hair system, is a thin base with real human hair attached to it. It is fixed on the bald or thinning area of your scalp and blended with your own hair, so the two look like one.

Nothing is cut and nothing goes under the skin. The patch is held with skin-safe tape, glue or clips, and you can wash, comb and style it like your own hair. If you ever want to stop, it simply comes off.
