How to Wash and Care for a Human Hair Wig

Washing

Wash a human hair wig once or twice a week. Use lukewarm water and a mild, sulphate-free shampoo, and move your fingers downwards from root to tip. Do not rub or twist.

Drying and styling

Press out water with a towel and let it air dry on a stand. If you blow-dry, keep the heat low and use a heat protectant.

• Comb from the tips upwards with a wide-tooth comb.
• Do not sleep with a wet wig.
• Keep hot tools below medium heat.

Storing

Keep the wig on a stand, away from direct sunlight and dust. Come in for a professional wash and conditioning every few weeks to keep the hair soft.
